Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Manajemen dan Pendidikan strictly upholds the principles of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts must be the author’s own work and free from any form of plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
Before publication, every manuscript is checked for similarity using reliable plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) to ensure the originality of its content. The acceptable similarity index is below 25%, excluding references, quotes, and standard methodological terms.
If plagiarism is detected during the review or editing process, the editorial board will take the following actions depending on the severity:
-
Minor similarity – The author will be asked to revise and properly cite the original sources.
-
Significant plagiarism – The manuscript will be rejected immediately.
-
Proven plagiarism after publication – The article will be retracted, and the author may be blacklisted from future submissions.
The journal also adheres to the ethical guidelines set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) to handle any publication misconduct related to plagiarism.
