Publication Ethics

Jurnal Manajemen dan Pendidikan is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and strictly follows the ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Every party involved in the publication process authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher must adhere to ethical responsibilities to ensure the integrity of scientific communication.

1. Duties of Authors

  • Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, have not been published elsewhere, and are not under review in another journal.

  • Proper acknowledgment of sources must always be given, and plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.

  • All authors listed must have made significant contributions to the research and agree to the submitted version.

  • Any conflict of interest that could affect data interpretation should be disclosed in the manuscript.

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data and must be willing to provide access to raw data if requested by the editor.

2. Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for making fair and impartial decisions on submitted manuscripts, based solely on academic merit.

  • Editors must maintain confidentiality of all submissions and ensure a double-blind review process.

  • Editors must take appropriate actions in cases of ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or data falsification.

  • Editors should not have any conflict of interest with the authors or reviewers involved in the review process.

3. Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers assist the editorial team in making publication decisions by providing constructive, objective, and timely feedback.

  • Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and not use any unpublished materials for personal advantage.

  • Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors.

  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest that may affect their objectivity.

4. Duties of the Publisher

  • The publisher ensures that all editorial processes are carried out according to ethical standards.

  • The publisher is responsible for maintaining academic integrity, archiving, and accessibility of all published articles.

  • In cases of proven misconduct or plagiarism, the publisher will work with editors to retract or correct the publication following COPE procedures.

Jurnal Manajemen dan Pendidikan firmly opposes all forms of academic dishonesty, including plagiarism, falsification, fabrication of data, and duplicate publication. Ethical compliance is an essential requirement for publication, and violations may result in rejection, retraction, or author sanctions.
