Under the supervision of the Ministry of Religion, the independent curriculum is currently being widely adopted in Indonesian schools, including madrasas. Madrasah MIN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur is one of the madrasas that has adopted the independent curriculum. Researchers are interested in conducting more in-depth research with the research title "Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Learning the Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject at MIN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur." This research uses a descriptive qualitative methodology, with the research subject being the Principal of Madrasah MIN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur as the main information provider in this study. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Al-Qur'an Hadith learning at MIN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur has shown positive efforts in developing more meaningful and student-centered learning, although it still faces various challenges that require sustainable solutions.
Winaryo Winaryo Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Manajemen dan Pendidikan https://jurnal.iaima.ac.id/ulinnuha/article/view/188 Fri, 17 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Sistem, Problematika, dan Kebijakan Pendidikan di Turki https://jurnal.iaima.ac.id/ulinnuha/article/view/189
This article examines the educational system, problems, and policies in Turkey from a comparative education perspective, particularly from the viewpoint of Islamic Religious Education. The method employed is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. Turkey, as a country with a Muslim majority population, has a unique educational system influenced by the dynamics of secularism introduced since the era of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (1923) and Islamic values that remain strong in society. This article finds that Turkey's educational system encompasses three main pathways: formal education, non-formal education, and higher education supported by the Turkiye Bursları scholarship program. The problems faced include educational quality disparities between urban and rural areas, secular-religious ideological polarization, intense competition for university admission, refugee education challenges, and educational technology gaps. Turkey's educational policies are characterized by efforts to balance modern-secular orientation with Islamic values, including the revitalization of Imam Hatip schools. This study provides significant implications for the development of Islamic education policy in Indonesia.
Ayu Muntoharroh Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Manajemen dan Pendidikan https://jurnal.iaima.ac.id/ulinnuha/article/view/189 Sat, 16 May 2026 00:00:00 +0000
