Abstract

The Purpose of the research was to find out How many languages the students use in daily conversation at Semurup Education Centre (SEC). languages the students use in daily conversation at SEC. The subject of the research was the first step students of SEC. The investigation of this study was done through qualitative descriptive method with interviews. The findings of this study showed that the students at SEC can use Indonesia language as formal language in Indonesia country. They know that there are many students at SEC come from different Places and have different language as well. In daily conversation at SEC, they use Code-switching and Code-Mixing with students who have different language.
